In September 2001 I started teaching in the English
Department at North Central State College. I teach the Technical Writing,
News writing and Basic Composition courses. My Bachelor of Science is in News-Editorial Journalism with a Political Science minor and my Master of Arts is in Technical Writing with a cognate in MIS and Law. Both were earned at Bowling Green State University. I have worked as a reporter at The Willard Times, Fulton County Expositor (Wauseon), The Findlay Courier and The News-Messenger, Fremont, Ohio. My newspaper experience also includes being the editor of The Swanton Enterprise and News Systems Coordinator at The News-Messenger and The News Herald, Port Clinton, Ohio. I also worked as a Technical Writer for TLB, Inc., in Findlay, Ohio. During graduate school I taught Basic Composition and continued to teach part time after graduation. I have been an adjunct faculty member at Owens Community College, South Campus, Findlay and Terra Community College, Fremont. While at Terra I developed several Technical Writing courses and a Mass Media class. |
